The TFMC District 6 Competition held its first events in May 2025 in Austin and San Antonio.
This competition is an independent event with independent rules and is not part of any other competition, any district festival, or any state competition festival.

2025 TFMC District 6 Competition
We are very proud of all the students who participated in the first District 6 Competition. They were all well prepared. Approximately 70 students from the Opus 64 Club of Austin and the Crownridge Club of San Antonio participated. Entries were in piano, violin, voice, guitar, and theory. Although most students participated in person, several students submitted video performances. Participants were numerically scored based on level of proficiency on 10 performance elements appropriate to their specific instrument. All participants were given a beautiful ribbon, a performance certificate, and a copy of their rating sheet.
